🦉🕷Wee Critters🕷🦉
It was really lovely to welcome Allan the Explorer from Wee Critters back to St Patrick’s Primary School today and for our primary ones to meet him for the first time.
The children in room one were delighted to meet all the wonderful animals and find out lots of interesting facts about the animals and where they were from.
We met six animals today. Number 37 the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, Charlotte the Chile Rose Trantula 🕷, KiKi-Dee the Jenday Conure parrot 🦜, Bruno the mouse 🐁, Pepper the barn owl 🦉 and Scampi the Striped Skunk were all so wonderful.
We found out that we have 7 bones in our neck and Pepper the owl has 14! That’s why she can turn her head right round! Charlotte the spider wasn’t just black or brown- she also had pink on her back. When she’s in danger she can shoot out her spiny hair! KiKi comes all the way from Brazil!
