Wee Critters Outside Workshop (Article 13)

Article 13: You have the right to find things out and say what you think.

Mrs O’Hare’s P3/4 enjoyed a visit from ‘Wee Critters Workshop’ with Alan outside in our Outdoor Classroom. It was a beautiful autumn November morning. A lovely way to start the morning.

The children got to see and learn information and facts about cockroaches, snakes, mice, owls, skunks and toads. Unfortunately due to the restrictions they weren’t able to touch the wee critters. Alan was very impressed with the knowledge the pupils had about the animals and the interest they showed in wanting to find out more with great questioning. 

A great experience to see these animals in real life, that we normally only see in books or pictures.
