Visit by the Waterbus

The Northern Ireland Waterbus visited our school last week.  All pupils in P.5, P.6 and P.7 learnt about the importance of water as a life-giving gift, the necessity of having clean water to drink and the use of reservoirs and water processing plants.  They also learnt about the Water Cycle.  It was an informative and hands-on learning experience, enjoyed by all!  The lessons fitted in beautifully with our ECO work on re-cycling, reducing and re-using. Thank you to the Waterbus staff who made our pupils feel welcome and made such an effort to inform and inspire.
