Ukraine Appeal By Hilltown Community Association and Clonduff GAC
Hilltown Community Association and Clonduff Gac are arranging an appeal for donations to help those who have fled Ukraine to Poland. We’ve spoken to local lady Kasia who is working with her brother and friends at Lavender Fields Stable outside Rathfriland.
Donation Drop off will close on Monday 7th March @ 7pm The Clonduff GAC are leaving their changing rooms open for anyone who wishes to donate before Monday evening. Please ensure items in bags are labelled for ease of sorting and that like items are bagged together and others in separate bags eg food is in a separate bag than shampoos and soaps.
THEY DO NOT NEED ANY CLOTHING OR SHOES but would very much appreciate the following…
Blankets, Bedding, Sleeping bags, Towels, Nappies and wipes, Baby formula and baby food, Soap, Shampoo, Shower gel, Wet wipes, Hair brush, Tooth brush and paste, Feminine hygiene supplies, First aid supplies, Power banks and USB charging cables, Ready to eat canned food, Non perishable dry food, Coffee, tea, sugar, and bottled drinks.
