Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you had a restful Easter break and are ready for a busy Term 3. Updated dates for your diary were included in the Spring newsletter, issued before Easter. These dates are subject to change, so please check updates on the app over the term.
Over the early part of this term we will be completing standardised assessments from Primary 3 to Primary 7, and it is therefore important that your child attends school every day. Helping your child revise learning at home and complete homework activities will help them greatly. Please continue to listen to and read with your child daily. This exercise is vital to developing good reading skills from Primary 1 to Primary 7.
As a school we have invested heavily in the online learning programmes IXL, Lexia, Accelerated Reading and Seesaw. Your child's teacher and curriculum coordinators monitor each child's account. These programmes are a great way to help learning at home and we celebrate each child's milestone successes at assembly. Please make sure your child is using them regularly at home.
Breakfast Club will run from 8:00am to 8:40am, Monday to Friday. It is essential that no child is on school premises before 8:00am. Children not attending Breakfast Club can arrive from 8:30am onwards.
