The very hungry caterpillar in Room 1!

We’re having a wonderful time this term with our topic 'The Hungry Caterpillar'. We’ve enjoyed painting caterpillars with different materials and different styles, having a fruit and vegetable shop and even improving our fine motor skills by using tweezers to sort pasta. Orzo was used for our caterpillar eggs, spiral pasta the caterpillars, shell pasta made our cocoons and butterfly pasta for our butterflies!

We also enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day. Mrs Austin dressed up as the very hungry caterpillar. We enjoyed sharing our favorite books and stories. Hope you like our pictures!
