2D Stick Shapes
25th Sep 2020
This morning the children in Room 3 put their coats on and went outside for their numeracy.
The children collected lots of sticks of varying lengths necessary for their numeracy lesson.
They then went to the outdoor classroom to make squares, rectangles and triangles. It was very difficult to make circles! Some oval shapes were created using sticks instead. The children were able to talk about the number of sides found on each shape. All the children worked together with a partner.
Even though it started to rain, lots of fun was had outside! 😊
