St Patrick’s pupils say a big ‘thank you’ to Joe Parr!

Thanks to the goodness, kindness and generosity of Joe Parr,  every child and adult at St Patrick’s received an ice lolly this afternoon. This was part of the Dale Farm ‘Sharing Goodness’ campaign.  Joe was nominated for the prize for his tireless work in helping his local community, his family and friends. 
For his prize, Joe asked that all the children in the schools which his grandchildren attend should receive an ice lolly. Joe’s grandson, Patrick, is in P5 and Patrick along with his classmates enjoyed the visit from Caroline and a film crew today in school. They also enjoyed receiving the ice lollies on behalf of the school community! There was a choice of five flavours including the popular Frosty  and Choc pop! 
Mrs Reavey’s P.2 pupils also met the film crew and had great fun during the visit.
