St. Colman's hurling blitz

Our P6 and P7 hurlers were delighted to participate in a hurling blitz organised by St. Colman's College, Newry.

We had games against schools from Burren, Camlough, Dechomet, Maghermayo, Cloughreagh, Mayobridge and Castlewellan.  The boys displayed a great range of skills across all the games with some excellent scores taken.  At the end of the blitz , Austin was picked as one of three ‘players to watch’ chosen by County Senior Hurling Manager Ronan Sheehan.  The boys were treated to some well deserved refreshments and each school was given a set of a dozen sliothars.  Many thanks to Mr Doran and Mr Rodgers from St. Colman’s for organising.
