The recent good weather has helped children to keep outdoors and keep active.
We won't be able to have a normal Sports day this year but we intend to have an 'at home' Sports day on Friday 29th May - this was the day scheduled on our school calendar for our Sports Day since January. Let's hope for a warm, dry day.
On Friday 29th May there will be no scheduled work on Seesaw. Instead, teachers will suggest a range of sports activities for children to try at home. These will be for fun, exercise, fitness and enjoyment. Children will only be competing against themselves so there will be no pressure on anyone.
We would love it if you could take some photos or a short video of your sports day activities and send them to us through Seesaw and we will create a news item on our website for everyone to share in the fun!
For children who wish to be really active there is also the opportunity to participate in the Healthy Kidz virtual sports day challenge, sponsored by Spar and Vivo. See poster below.
