Spirit of The Titanic

Miss Murphy's and Mr Flanagan's P6 classes are thoroughly enjoying their new novel, 'Spirit of The Titanic' by Nichola Pierce. This week, Primary Six enjoyed writing diary entries in the role of Samuel Joseph Scott. They produced beautiful, heartfelt recounts in the character of Samuel, who was the first death associated with R.M.S. Titanic. Their work is now proudly displayed in their classroom. Notice how P6 can now produce beautiful cursive handwriting and make use of lots of descriptive devices in their writing, such as adjectives, similes and metaphors.
