Slรกn go Foill P6!
As we approach your final day of home learning in Primary Six, Miss Murphy, Sheree and Mr Flanagan want to congratulate you all on what you have achieved over the past three months. You have done your school, your family and your community proud.๐๐
Although our year together was cut short, we shared some fantastic times together. You have grown into mature, independent learners, who are ready to continue your journey into Primary Seven.
Thank you to your parents, who have supported you greatly during school closure.
This week, P6 enjoyed some ‘Movie Literacy’ which inspired them to write persuasive letters to our Government over lack of adequate water supply in some of the poorest parts of Africa.
The children embraced some challenging problem solving activities in Numeracy.
They reflected on their time in lockdown, asking their teacher questions and reflected on what they enjoyed most about learning from home and what they look forward to. In completing a P6 yearbook, they reflected on their achievements and set goals for next year.
The children also provided the school with wonderful feedback about their home learning platform, Seesaw.
We wish you a very happy, fun Summer!๐
Slan go foill, boys and girls, which means “Goodbye, until we meet again!” ๐
