Science Week
P1 were busy during Science week. They used toys and building blocks to investigate do they need to 'push' or 'pull' the toy under the bridge. They went on two hunts around the school grounds. The first was a Spring hunt looking for signs of Spring then the second was looking for minibeasts out around the pond area and around the trees. When they were out at the pond they discovered there was tadpoles in the pond. This lead us to look up and learn about the life cycle of a frog. Finally we finished yesterday investigating how a solid can become a liquid. We used this investigation to make chocolate nests as a treat for Easter.
