School Choir Conquer Cloughmór Stone!

Our School Choir enjoyed a wonderful day out today in recognition of their hard work all year. 

We travelled in the morning to Newry Omniplex and enjoyed watching the side-splittingly funny, ‘Sherlock Gnomes’. From Popcorn to Pick n’ Mix, treats were galore! 

In the afternoon, we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine shine at Kilbroney Forest Park, where we managed to climb all the way up to the Clough Mór Stone!

Miss Murphy told us all about the Legend of Finn Mac Cool and some of us even attempted to move Mac Cool’s boulder!

We enjoyed our lunch, taking in the beautiful scenery all around us and had plenty of fun exploring the surrounding hills. We trekked through the fun spiralling dirt tracks of the mountain bike trail on our descent, before hopping back on board our bus to go home.

A wonderful day out had by all!
