R.S.P.B.NI Talk

Noreen Gallagher from the R.S.P.B.NI came to the school to talk to the children about red kites. Red kites have been reintroduced into Northern Ireland in recent years having been hunted to extinction in Ireland 200 years ago. We heard about the importance of these magnificent birds and how these birds feed and raise their young. St. Patrick’s have adopted their own red kite called Rusty who is thriving here in the Mournes.
