Room 2 Numeracy

P1 were working on mental maths using the numicons. Showing numbers, numbers before, numbers after and numbers between. They then moved onto making some numbers to 20 using Numicon shapes.

P2 having been working on adding one and two more to a given number. Today they used their whiteboards to write a given number and draw 2 hops to see what number they landed on. This activity demonstrates the importance of being able to count from any given number.
