Room 2 meets Buddy. Article 19

Article 19 - Children have the right to be protected from being hurt or badly treated.

P1 and 2 watched the NSPPC online assembly with Ant and Dec. As they are younger children they only watched a little bit over a few days to help them understand the meaning of the assembly and the message ‘Speak Out to Stay Safe.’

The children were able to retell who the trusted adults are they can speak to in circle time.

They were able to recite their right to speak out and stay safe!

P2 began painting Buddy and are going to put a display up with Buddy reminding everyone Buddy’s message. 

This has been a very interesting lesson for all our children in St Patrick’s.
