Room 2 - capacity in the sun ☀️

Room 2 decided to use the water from outdoor play to do some capacity work. They looked at the different sizes of the bottles, estimated how many cups it would take to fill the bottles and then measured them in. The child used the language full cups and half cups. It was fun watching what happened when too much water was added in (even a few children got splashed!). Finally the children compared the 2 teapots from the mud kitchen area. They children will continue this work independently at the water play area during outdoor play.
