Road Safety tip for this week: "Pedestrian Safety"
Whilst there has been less traffic on our roads (especially early on in the lockdown), many more people have been out walking, running and cycling. This is brilliant to see people getting out and about, enjoying the lovely weather, but this means we have to think extra carefully about how we can stay safe on the roads!!
This week, the theme is "Pedestrian Safety". We want you to talk to your children about safe pedestrian habits; how we should behave when we are out on the roads, where is the safest place to cross the road, why is it important to be bright and be seen?
Please find attached 2 activities which you can complete with your child - (One for P.1 - P.3 and one for P.4 - P.7)
