Road Safety
Today we had Matthew, David, Colin and Rose in to visit our school to talk about road safety. They delivered some very important messages.
The children from P1 to P3 learned about how to cross the road safely using the Stop, Look, Listen and Think sequence. The police talked about wearing seatbelts and how the children should be sitting in their booster seats. They also talked about the dangers of distracting adults while they are driving.
The children all received furry bugs and pencils from the police today.
The children from P1 to P4 have a colouring competition to complete and the children from P5 to P7 will design a Road Safety poster. The community police will return next week with some lovely prizes.
