For May, we have been concentrating on Mental Health Awareness linked to Article 13 (the right to freedom of expression) and Article 24 (the right to health and health services).
All of our classes have been learning about and practicing ways to keep mentally healthy.
With lessons on Relaxation, emotional checks-ins, developing growth mindset and can do attitudes, and remembering and thanking those people who make us feel happy and positive, we have been very busy.
Congratulations to Mr O’Hare and Mrs Hendrick, who were awarded ‘Duty Bearers of the Month’ by our pupils and staff for helping to uphold the pupils’ rights to freedom of expression and the right to access health and health services. 👏👏👏
Mr O’Hare is missing from the photo because he was with our boys and girls football teams, helping them access the right to stay healthy at a sports tournament! 😃
