Staff and pupils of St Patrick's were delighted to welcome back most of our retired teachers for a 'Local and School History' day on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th October as part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations. The catering staff provided lovely refreshments and former colleagues renewed friendships while current staff met the teachers who had been here in the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and 1990's (and some who retired very recently). The three former principals of St Patrick's, Mr Kevin Mussen, Mr Gregory Hanna and Mrs Kathleen Cousins were delighted to visit and talk to pupils. All classes had at least two visitors and the pupils were excited and happy to meet the former teachers. Lots of 'history' was shared!
