Red Kite Retreat

As part of our World Around Us, Primary 5 enjoyed a trip to the Red Kite Retreat at Dechomet.   Since 2008, when the red kites were re-introduced to Northern Ireland, they have become frequent visitors to the area. We were excited  to watch these majestic birds in flight and see them at close quarters when they came in to feed.
