Primary 5's Bird feeders!

Primary 5 had great fun today making bird feeders. They are studying birds and flight as our topic this term and are enjoying finding out more about our local wild birds. We all enjoyed mixing and filling our paper pots even if it was a bit messy! One of our girls noticed how lovely and soft her hands felt after she had finished! The recipe we used (from Twinkl), is in our photographs in case you want to have a go too! We’re really pleased with our results!

This weekend (26-28th January) is the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch weekend. This is the world’s largest garden wildlife survey. Every year, hundreds of thousands of nature lovers take part, helping to build a picture of how garden birds are faring. There is still time to register to take part if you want!
