Primary 1 & 2 learning about Forces in PE!

Over the last few weeks Primary 1 & 2 having been investigating the topic 'push and pull' in gymnastics on a Wednesday morning. They incorporated a little bit of their science topic in PE thinking how they can get themselves from one end of the bench to the other on their back or their tummy. 

The children also travelled under and through the bench where they had to use both forces.

This week the scooter boards were also introduced - the children love them!.

They were given a thinking skill task: to work how they can get to the top of the hall by using the pushing force and to the bottom of the hall by using the pulling force!
