Paired Reading Scheme a Huge Success

A huge congratulations to the 59 pupils and their parents who took part in the 8-week 'Paired Reading' programme!  We are absolutely delighted with the results.  All pupils made progress and became more fluent readers.  The highest gain in months was 26 months which was achieved by three pupils.  The average gain in months was 14 months.   Well done to all the mums and dads, aunts and uncles, grannies and granddads who helped.  Now that the children are enjoying reading so much more they will want to continue this good work so hopefully some new habits have been developed and this great work will continue.
