Take a look at the wonderful learning experiences they have had this month using our online learning platform, ‘Seesaw’.
In Numeracy, children explored Lego builds with a volume 32 cm 3. They understand place value of decimals and how to calculate the area of triangles, composite shapes and even their own gardens and lawns!
In Literacy, the children are continuing to immerse themselves in their topic ‘The Great Irish Famine’, through the reading and interpreting of our class novel, ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree’. They have been learning about types of nouns and spelling, grammar and punctuation.
This week, pupils thoroughly enjoyed interviewing their parents to find out about their reading styles and favourite authors. I think we have a few future podcasters on our hands!
