P1 learning number words
10th Apr 2018
Room 2 were learning to recognise number words. To help them they began working with the knowledge they already have by matching numbers, sets and numicon then they brought in some phonics knowledge to try and sound out some of the words. They also learned that one and two are tricky words and five has a silent 'e'. Look through the photos to see how they got to the end product.
