The Rights Respecting Group announced some important messages at assembly.
First, they informed the whole school of an important day coming up on Friday 22nd March ‘World Water Day’. The theme this year is ‘Leaving no one behind’. The Rights Respecting group have organised activities for each class to complete that day to make everyone aware of the importance of not wasting water.💧
Our new article of the month is Article 29 ‘We have the right to develop our personalities, talents and abilities to the fullest.’ The Rights group thought this was the most relevant article this month as we have had lots of success in the Feis with our talents and we are going to be participating in St Patrick’s got Talent next week.
Miss McAnulty was voted by the children as a Duty Bearer of the month as she has helped a lot of our pupils achieve Article 29 this month. Mrs Branagan was also chosen for giving the children the right to be safe out in the playground and for always having lovely, caring approach. 😀
