Number time is fun!

Primary 2 have been working on making the story of 5, 6, 7 and 8. Today they were working with their partner to record and make the given story - one made the story while the other recorded and then swapped round. 

Primary 1 began working with the Numicon shapes. These shapes are a fantastic visual learning resource for teaching of number. The children ordered the shapes to 10 (using the numicon table number line in needed) and then we played ‘show me’ game to allow them to find the given number shape and to familiarise themselves with the shapes and colours.
