NI Water donate a waterbutt - Eco work continues!
Thanks to NI Water who have donated a waterbutt for use in our school garden. We are always trying to improve the grounds and the outdoor learning environment. We work hard to enhance pupil well-being and mental health and also to improve the sustainability of the school grounds.
Waterbutts are a great way to do this as they harvest rainwater, which can then be used to water plants.
We are also using NI Water's virtual education lessons in school.
Pictured are two of our Eco team members, Kennedy and Abi, along with Mrs Austin, our Eco co-ordinator. Also pictured in the Education Officer from NI Water, Mr Pat McCauley.
