Meet the Lifeguard

Today a number of classes had the opportunity to find out about the role of the lifeguard. Two RNLI lifeguards visited school and worked with the children.  The children were told about the various flags that can be seen on the beaches around our locality, how to keep safe on a warm day at the beach and what to do in the event of an emergency while visiting the beach.  The children had an opportunity at the end of the session to ask some very interesting questions.
