Marvellous May!
Primary One have had a lovely month of May. We’ve really been enjoying our “Under the Sea” Theme, lots of painting and outdoor activities. Rainbow fish is now a firm favourite for all of us! The message of sharing and being kind reinforced again.
Check out the lovely colours of our sea and our fabulous painting with celery! Play dough activites have been great fun, lots of octopus and fish being created. We’ve even explored making fish with tissue paper and pva glue. We’ve created aquariums using LEGO, had a holiday shop and created SCUBA equipment from poploids. Some of us went fishing in our water tray, sorted sea animals by both creature and colour and even made words from magnetic letters in our outdoor classroom.
Our obstacle courses for PE have been great fun. Scooter and body boards are most popular. Walking fast with a bean bag on your head can be really funny!
