Irish News literacy project begins

Primary 7 children began today The Irish News Critical Literacy project. They will receive a copy of the Irish News every Wednesday for the next eight weeks and are set literacy tasks on the newspaper. They thoroughly enjoyed week 1 and have got a great insight into the layout and format of a newspaper. They are really looking forward to the rest of the project.
