Internet Safety Awareness

The PSNI visited today. Primary 1-4 pupils were given lots of good information to help keep them safe on the internet. The children were all aware of social media, gaming and YouTube. The police officers who gave the talk gave some good advice:

They said:

If you aren’t friends with a person in the real world then don’t be friends with them in the online world. 

People aren’t always who they say they are. 

Don’t give out any personal information about yourself, your address or school.

Be careful of putting photos online and what information it can tell about us.

Think Safety and use common sense at all times!
