We remember our baptism… by P.2!
Another busy week in Primary 2.
The children had lots of numeracy and literacy activities. They were introduced to function machines and days of the week. They also revisited time. The children also had great fun in the area of capacity and I would imagine lots of wet floors with the mop at the ready!
In literacy this week there was a particular focus on handwriting and writing a diary for the week.
There were many more activities across the curriculum experienced; from creating their own alphabet using items from around the house to PE Super Friends time. The children also listened to another story from Jessie and Friends about keeping safe online and completed a number of activities.
The children looked back at their baptisms and shared many pictures of their special day.
With all this home learning, the children were also able to let us know how they relax and showed great examples of it.
The big challenge this week in Primary 2 was to research a country of their choice and some wonderful fact files were created. The fact files just make you want to jump on a plane and visit!
Well done to all the children in Primary 2. You are all working so hard and your teachers are very proud of you. Thanks again to the parents for the excellent support provided.
Take a look at some of the examples of the wonderful work happening at home. 🙂
