Home Learning in P2
Super work completed again from our children in Primary 2. This week in literacy, the children were introduced to the story of Sidney Spider and his tale of friendship. This helped build the children's confidence around speaking, listening, reading and writing. The children explored a range of tasks from reading response activities, to baking spiders and reviewing their learning.
In numeracy, the children became familiar with written number words, revisited place value and had lots of practical activities linked to measure.
As part of their Grow in Love programme, the children created cards to thank those who help them make the right choices.
They also enjoyed a Gratitude Treasure hunt, whereby the children found things at home that made them feel happy.
Many more activities were completed this week, from cloud watching to the 30 day Art/DT challenge.
Once again, well done to all the boys and girls who have completed some fantastic work this week and a big thank you to all the mums and dads who have supported their learning!
