Gillian Fitzpatrick NMDC visit

Our local SDLP councillor Gillian Fitzpatrick, former Mayor of NMDDC, visited the school to speak to the School Council and Eco Council. She explained to them her role in the Council and how she helps the people in the community. The children asked her questions and got some new ideas to help them in their roles. 

Gillian then spoke to P4 - P7 in the Assembly Hall discussing her role and tried to explain the difference between local, regional and national governments. She finished with a question and answer session. 

St Patrick's would like to thank Gillian for giving up her time to come to our school to talk to the children and for the treats she provided for our Council members.
