Gerard O’Hare our local councilor visits the RIghts Respecting team and P7s

On Wednesday morning, we had a visit from Mr Gerard O’Hare, our local councillor. He spoke to our Rights Respecting Group about his role in the community. The children talked about their role in the school too. They were very curious about the new Spelga park play area and asked many questions regarding infrastructure in the area.

Gerard then spent time with P7s discussing his recent  ‘motion’ on the transfer test and mental health and he answered many questions. 

We wish to thank Gerard for coming in to spend time to chat to the pupils and we appreciate the wonderful job he is doing in the area.
