GAA President visits St Patrick’s P. S.

We were delighted to welcome Mr John Horan, President of the GAA in Ireland, to visit all the children on Wednesday 23rd May 2018. There was great excitement in the air as the Hurling, Football and Camogie team members waited outside the Assembly Hall in the warm sunshine while the rest of the children waited inside for the guests to arrive. Mr Horan spoke to the children about his work and answered all their questions. Then photos were taken and he went to the bottom yard to meet our talented young players. He was very encouraging and it was a lovely memory for pupils to have.
