Fireworks safety 💥 and stranger danger!
Primary one to seven had a very informative Firework Safety and Stranger Danger talk today delivered by the PSNI. The children were reminded how to keep safe and watched a clip about a boy called Billy. The police officers showed the children all their kit including walkie talkies, cameras, torches, black note book, cuffs and protective vests. As part of their chat they reminded the children about Safe Strangers - people who are wearing a uniform, a name badge and help people (Police, Fire fighters). They taught the children a simple strategy when approached by a stranger: NO, GO, YELL and TELL.
