Time Flies in P3/4
This week in primary three and four we were learning about time. Primary three were learning to write o’clock and half past times both digitally and analogue. Whilst primary four were focusing on quarter past and quarter to. We used class clocks, whiteboards, worksheets and played games. One thing Mrs O’Hare learned is that EVERYONE in the class knows when it’s break time, lunchtime and home time. ⏰
We all know about the importance of our physical health, now more so than ever but primary three and four have been learning how to take care of their own mental health also. We have listened to stories in our outdoor classroom, We discussed the importance of being outside getting fresh air and exercise, talking to someone we trust about how we are feeling, our breathing, yoga and the one thing that every child should be getting lots of is free time to PLAY.
Article 29: the purpose of education is to develop every child’s personality, talents and mental and physical abilities.
