Education Authority Orchestra Visit for CHRISTMAS ROADSHOW!

The Education Authority Orchestra, which is made up of the tutors who teach music in the schools here, performed to a packed hall on 16th December. They played many famous tunes and themes from well known films and television shows. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of seeing a live orchestra perform in our own school. Pupils also took part in performing and conducting and thoroughly recognising tunes and joining in with the singing.  It was a lovely way to finish off the week before Christmas having hosted our own two marvellous concerts earlier in the week.

Thanks to the E.A. Music Service for their wonderful support of our school throughout the years.  Many of our pupils began their instrumental careers through the Music Service tuition and some past pupils have gone on to great musical acclaim throughout Ireland.
