Dental Advice at P1 Intake Day

On Wednesday 7th June, Anita Kavanagh from the Dental Services at John Mitchel Place Newry came to speak to our new P1 intake parents. She advised them on how good habits can help them to take care of their children's teeth and showed them some very scary facts on how different foods can destroy children's teeth. Northern Ireland is one of the highest on record for child  teeth extraction from as young as under 1 year old!!! Every parent got a dental pack to take home.
