Defibrillator Training

After the P7 boys and girls completed Heartstart they asked to learn how to use the school Defibrillator. Our school likes to listen to the voice of the children so their request was granted and Ms Mc Neill spent extra tine with the children.

Pupils watched several videos on how to use a defibrillator, looked at the two different sets of pads (child and adult) and learned how and why the pads are positioned differently. The boys and girls discussed how it should be an easy process as the defibrillator tells you what to do but they also had questions and what ifs!!!!
