👮Community Police meet Room 3👮♂️
Today we had the school community’s police officers visit our class as part of our WAU topic and their visit very much linked in with Catholic Schools Week - Communities of Service.
Prior to the police visiting the children the boys and girls were learning how to ask questions, the words they would use at the beginning of a question and what needs to come at the end of a written question through their literacy lessons.
The children got the chance to ask some of their prepared questions. The police told them that their number one priority is to keep everyone safe in our community.
The children were also very excited to see their police car. They all got to sit in the police car and even turn on the flashing lights. 👮👮♂️🚔
