Christmas trip - π π» Christmas Through the Ages π
5th Dec 2018
Primary One and Two went to the Palace Stables in Armagh today to learn about Christmas in the past. This linked very well with our topic Toys and Victorian Toys. Mrs Smith the cook told them about old traditions in the kitchen and the higher the hat the more power the cook had - all will be looking at Michelle's hat tomorrow!!
They woke up a very sleepy and tired Santa who then told them all about his tree and the reason why they hung cinnamon and dried orange on their tree.
A great day had by all and some could not believe they were going home when they got to school.
