Christmas Through the Ages
Primary 2 visited The Palace Stables in Armagh today for a fun filled Christmas trip.
The trip was called 'Christmas Through the Ages'. The children heard all about Christmas long ago. First the boys and girls made a lovely Santa decoration. They all followed the instructions very well and are looking forward to displaying their decorations at home.
The children then visited Mrs Smith in the Kitchen from the 1700's and found out what happened in the kitchen at Christmas time.
They also met Mr Smith who was experiencing rationing during World War 2. The children were very surprised at what they wouldn't have been able to have during the war.
Finally the children also met the main man himself, Santa. The children all spoke to Santa and told him what they would like.
A super day enjoyed by everyone. Hopefully Santa remembers everything what he was told today!!!
A big thank you to our prefects. They were a great help with all the children today.
