Christingles

As the season of Advent draws closer to an end, we made Christingles to bring home and remind us what the Christmas season is truly about. The candle reminds us how Jesus is the Light of the World. We used an orange as it is round and represents the Earth and God’s everlasting love. His love has no beginning and no end just like a sphere. The sticks represent the four seasons and the sweets reminds us of the fruits of God’s creation. Finally, the red ribbon symbolizes Jesus’ blood and His sacrifice. Light your Christingle on Christmas Day and take a moment to remember the baby Jesus who is the Light of our World.
