Chrism Mass on Holy Thursday

Our Primary 7 pupils were invited to attend the Chrism Mass on Holy Thursday in Newry Cathedral. Thank you to our pupils who attended with family members. It was lovely to see Arch Bishop Eamon Martin and all the clergy in the diocese taking part in the mass, including our very own Father Byrne and Deacon Jerry. All the children who attended were invited up to see the holy oils being blessed. The holy oils are used when we were baptised, at our confirmation and when anointing the sick. It was lovely to hear some of our past pupils singing in the St. Colman's choir. Missing from the group photo are Tadhg, Matthew, Ellie and Ruby.
